Our environment is a reflection and expression of us, which means the vibe of the space, not the size or location, necessarily. In turn, we can also work with our environment to create and cultivate the frequency we want to bring in and align with, such as peace, inspiration, well-being, clarity of mind, or relaxation.
From a healing perspective, we can transform energy from working on our inner world, which then creates a shift in our outer, and likewise, we can create changes in our outer environment to support the desired vibe we are seeking to experience in our inner landscape.
We can approach this from both simple ways to more intentional and thought-out planning where we are redecorating or implementing things to cultivate an ambiance that vibrates the feel we are seeking. This can range from a whole space or home to a room or a specific area. This can also include areas we don’t have full access to change, such as a desk or office at work or a temporary place we are staying.
Some examples of simple ways to shift energy and raise our vibration can include things like cleaning, decluttering, opening windows, or allowing the sunlight or moonlight in. Even taking 5 minutes to do quick impactful actions like sweeping, wiping a counter, or burning some incense can have significant benefits. Especially when done with a clear intention before taking the action such as intending to move out something like fatigue, sadness, or anger and or bring in fresh, uplifting light energy. Or we can intend the vibe we specifically wish to align with or open to like peace or freedom.
Other simple to moderate ways we can raise the vibe are to light candles, smudge, bring in crystals, and essential oils, playing music or sound frequencies. We can beautify the space by bringing in specific pieces of art, pictures, artifacts, or symbols to cultivate a mood or remind us of what we want to feel or aspire to. Bringing in living things like plants brings life and fresh energy. Some plants along with salt lamps can also aid in purifying the air. Additionally, keeping a vase of salt water in a room can clear out negative energies. This is especially helpful if there have been heavier, dense conversations or if we are going through a tough healing or grieving process. It’s important to flush this water down the toilet daily or weekly depending on what has been going on.
We create thought forms with our consistent thinking. The more intensity behind our thoughts, the stronger the thought form will be. These thought forms then begin to influence and impact us. So, this can be very supportive if we are generating positive and inspiring ones, or equally detrimental if we are creating gloomy, pessimistic thoughts. Therefore, it is beneficial to periodically cleanse our space, with the intention that all discordant thought forms and energies that aren’t ours or equal to love and light be cleared and dissipated. This can be done as a request on its own or in conjunction with burning incense, diffusing lemongrass, or anything that we may resonate with or be guided to do.
If there is a sense or experience of entities in our space, we can light a candle and let it burn out completely on its own with the intention that any entities or beings are cleared or transitioned and brought to their most perfect and rightful place.
Our homes have a consciousness and are very influenced by how we treat them. Even if we are in a place that we wish we weren’t, it’s important to focus on being grateful for what is good and appreciate what is working well so we can maintain a vibration to attract more of what we want rather than what we don’t want.
Being grounded and present in our space, in alignment with what we want to experience, will cultivate a quicker path in manifesting our wish into reality. We can also generate powerful vibratory areas where we do consistent meditation, dancing, or creating. Once in place, we can then utilize these spaces for support. Just go, sit, and be in the presence that this space holds, which can be so soothing, inspiring, healing, and comforting in times when we need to get calm, grounded, and recentered.
Whether we are seeking to create a healing sanctuary, a cozy space oozing with comfort, or a crisp minimalist environment, we can create the space that can support us in tapping into our highest potential and creating the ultimate life we desire. We have the power to choose ways to help us keep our vibes up! How amazing!
