“I AM GROUNDED.
My Spirit is grounded deep in the earth. I am calm, strong, centered and peaceful. I am able to let go of fear and trust that I am eternally safe. I am worthy of all things BEAUTIFUL.”
Carly Marie
We can navigate through any storm, challenge or passage with poise, balance, peace, resiliency, grit and grace when we are grounded! One of the most powerful ways to voyage through times of uncertainty and change is to steadily practice and cultivate the ability to be grounded. This includes recognizing when we are not grounded, knowing how to get grounded and learning to cultivate a strong inner foundation of being grounded so that it is our ‘way of being’. Where we can stay connected to our core, maintaining calm, confidence, clarity and perspective.
To be grounded physically means our life force is anchored in the body. We are connected and present to our bodies, our senses, our environment and to Mama Earth. To be grounded mentally and emotionally is to be present, aware, flexible, stable, composed, peaceful and have the capacity to maintain equilibrium. Where we can then have a more sensible, optimistic approach on life or unfolding events. Our thoughts and emotions are more harmonized providing the ability of critical thinking and conscious responses rather than explosive, out of control reactions. When we are spiritually grounded, we can more readily perceive what we do not have control over, thereby bringing us into more focused alignment and flow. Where we can be in deep connection with our inner authority and Soul guidance. We can see the bigger picture playing out and can therefore derive more meaning and purpose to our experience. Providing us the remembering of our personal values and vision we have for our lives. Most importantly we can choose the vibratory alignment we wish to be in, to express, as well as to offer for the greater whole and collective. Where we understand we can create the life we wish to experience, for ourselves and all of life.
Being grounded supports and assists us in many ways. Here are some examples:
One of the most beautiful reminders that there is a bigger Divine choreography playing out is to observe the synergy of nature. For example, the trees are deeply rooted and connected to the earth. They provide shelter for us. They host nests for other birds and insects. They need the sun and rain for nourishment and growth. They ebb and flow with the changing seasons and rhythm of life.
When we are grounded, we too remember we are a part of this glory of interconnectedness. And even when we cannot see what is next or understand what is occurring around us, we can come back to the present of Now! Remembering, opening, trusting our own rhythm and heartbeat indicating we are alive and purposeful. That we matter and we can and do make a difference.
